There has been four new govt. engineering colleges been established by the govt. of U.P.Among those four is the MANYAWAR KANSIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, AZAMGARH(Now Rajkiya Engineering College), whose construction is at full swing in gram akbalpur,tehsil lalganj.Nearly 200 workers have been employed for its construction work & is hoped to complete its construction soon.
There are three branches namely : Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering (with intake of 60 seats in each) from the session 2010-11.In the year 2016 all students of REC got shifted to azamgarh. In the beginning means in 2010 its classes were conducted in the campus of Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur(Now MMMUT). REC students have got a lot of talent and hope they all will come out in flying colours and also help in serving this nation for better future.
